Quelle http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=11734511 He married Louisa Ramer 17 Nov 1864 in Tipton Township, Cass Co., IN. They had 9 children all born in Cass Co., IN: In the 1870 and 1880 US Censuses, His father and mother are listed as living in a neighboring residence/farm with son Henry age 14 and 23 respectively. Justus died in Tipton Township, Cass Co., IN. For whatever reason, FAG does not list this place as an option in Cass Co...CH I remember my grandparents & great-grandparents telling humorous stories about how "very German" he was, meaning very stubbornly strict, and to what lengths they had to go to bypass his rules and get away with it. (Some things never change generation to generation). Note: the surname is variously spelled Hildebrand and Hildebrandt. The former is apparently the US spelling and the latter the original German spelling. Family links: Spouse: Children: Sibling: *Calculated relationship Burial: Maintained by: Curt Hofemann |
